Over the past week, we’ve been gently brought back to something so important—our energy.
With the arrival of the spring equinox, we’ve stepped into a new season of light, renewal, and quiet awakening. Even if the weather hasn’t quite caught up yet (especially here in Connecticut), the energy has already begun to shift. There’s a sense of something opening… something ready to grow.
And when we pair that with the energy of the new moon, it really becomes a powerful time for intention.
In Reiki, we know that where attention goes, energy flows. The thoughts we think, the intentions we set, the healing we invite in—none of it is random. It is all energy in motion, always responding, always shifting.
So the question becomes… what are we choosing to nurture right now?
This past week also gave us a reminder that energy doesn’t just live within us—it moves through our spaces too. I shared about rearranging things in my living room, and how something so simple created such a noticeable shift.
It’s funny how that works, isn’t it?
One small change, and suddenly things feel lighter… clearer… more open.
And the same is true within us.
Through Reiki, we begin to notice when something feels just a little “off.” Maybe we feel unsettled, tired, emotional, or just not quite ourselves. That’s not something to judge—it’s something to gently pay attention to.
Our energy is always speaking to us.
And one of the easiest ways to begin bringing it back into balance is something we always have with us… our breath.
Taking a few moments to pause, to breathe deeply, and to come back to ourselves can shift more than we realize. It brings us back to center, where our energy can begin to flow more naturally again.
This week also touched on something close to my heart—stepping into our purpose and sharing our work.
Whether it’s Reiki, meditation, offering support, or simply holding space for someone who needs it, what we do matters. When we allow ourselves to be seen, we create connection. We open the door for healing—not just for others, but for ourselves too.
And that’s one of the reasons I love our meditation sharing circle so much.
There’s something really special about coming together in a shared space, even virtually, and just allowing ourselves to be present. No pressure, no expectations—just a space to breathe, to receive, and to connect.
If you’ve been feeling the pull to reset, realign, or just take a quiet moment for yourself, I warmly invite you to join us. Sometimes, simply sitting in that shared energy can create the shift we’ve been needing.
And now, as we come to the end of this week, I want to gently bring you back to you…
Where is your energy today?
Not where you think it should be—but where it truly is.
Are you feeling calm and centered?
Or maybe a little scattered, tired, or overwhelmed?
Whatever your answer is, it’s okay.
Reiki teaches us that there is no “wrong” place to be. There is only awareness… and from that awareness, we can begin to shift.
Maybe that looks like placing a hand over your heart and taking a deep breath.
Maybe it’s sitting quietly for a few moments.
Maybe it’s simply acknowledging how you feel without trying to change it right away.
Healing doesn’t have to be complicated.
It can be as simple as coming back to yourself.
As we move forward into this new season, may you continue to nurture the intentions you’ve planted, trust the shifts that are happening (even the quiet ones), and remember that balance is always something you can return to.
One breath… one moment… one gentle shift at a time.

May Reiki energy flow gently through you,
bringing balance where it is needed,
peace where there is unrest,
and light where there may be heaviness.
May your heart feel supported,
your mind feel calm,
and your spirit feel aligned with your highest good.
May you trust in your own ability to heal,
to grow,
and to return to center—again and again.
And may you always be surrounded by loving, healing energy. ✨
