  • Moving with the Energy of the Season

As we move deeper into March, there is a quiet but noticeable shift happening around us. The days are getting a little longer, the light is changing, and in many places we are finally beginning to feel hints of warmer air after a long winter.

This time of year often brings a mixture of emotions and energy. On one hand, we may feel excited about the approach of spring. On the other hand, our bodies and routines may still be adjusting. The recent time change can leave many people feeling slightly out of rhythm, and that is perfectly natural.

One of the most important things we can do during seasonal transitions is give ourselves permission to move gently with the change rather than rushing through it.

Over the past week, many of our daily reflections have centered on the importance of balance. Whether it was acknowledging the effect of the time change, appreciating the simple joy of opening the windows on a warm day, or pausing midweek to recognize our accomplishments, the message has been the same: our energy deserves our attention and care.

Nature itself reminds us that growth does not happen all at once. Spring unfolds gradually. The same is true for our own physical, emotional, and spiritual energy.

A few simple practices can help support balance during times of transition:

Take moments throughout the day to pause and breathe deeply. Even a few slow breaths can help reset your nervous system and bring your awareness back to the present moment.

Stay hydrated and nourished. When our schedules become busy, these simple needs are often the first things we overlook.

Spend a little time outdoors when possible. Fresh air and natural light can help restore both mental clarity and emotional calm.

And perhaps most importantly, practice patience with yourself. Adjusting to new rhythms—whether seasonal, emotional, or energetic—takes time.

At Inner Sight Reiki and Meditation, supporting energetic balance is at the heart of what we do. Through Reiki, guided meditation, and intuitive spiritual insight, the goal is to help individuals reconnect with their natural sense of harmony and calm.

Sometimes all it takes is a moment of stillness, a few mindful breaths, or the gentle support of energy work to help restore that balance.

As we continue moving toward spring, may this be a season of renewal, patience, and quiet growth. Just as nature awakens in its own time, we too can allow ourselves the space to unfold at the pace that feels right for us.

  • Trusting the Flow of the Season

As we move deeper into the first days of March, there is a subtle shift happening all around us. The energy of winter is slowly loosening its grip, and the quiet promise of spring is beginning to stir beneath the surface.

You may notice this shift not only in nature, but also within yourself.

Some days this week may have felt intense. With powerful lunar energy in the sky and the familiar frustrations that come when Mercury goes into retrograde, life can sometimes feel like it is asking us to pause whether we planned to or not. Technology may glitch, plans may change, and our carefully organized schedules may not unfold exactly the way we imagined.

But sometimes these moments are gentle reminders from the universe.

They remind us to slow down.

    Breathe.

And trust the natural flow of things.

During the recent full moon, many people experienced heightened emotions or moments of clarity. Full moons have a way of illuminating what we need to see—sometimes things we have been holding onto, and sometimes the simple truth that we are stronger and more capable than we realize.

This is also the time of year when the earth itself begins to awaken. Even while winter still lingers in the air, there are quiet signs of life returning. Seeds beneath the soil are preparing to grow, animals begin to stir, and the light of the sun grows a little stronger each day.

We are part of that same cycle.

Just as the earth moves through seasons, our lives move through seasons too. There are times for rest, times for reflection, and times for action. If this week has taught us anything, it may be that when we release the pressure to force everything to happen all at once, things often fall into place naturally.

You may have even noticed that the long to-do list that once felt overwhelming somehow began to shrink once you approached it with a calmer mind and a trusting heart.

Energy flows more freely when we stop fighting against it.

So as we continue moving toward spring, take a moment to honor where you are right now in your own personal season of growth. Be gentle with yourself. Take time to reset when needed. Light a candle, sit in quiet meditation, listen to soothing music, or simply take a few deep breaths and allow yourself to feel grounded again.

Growth does not always happen in loud, dramatic ways.

Often it happens quietly, just beneath the surface—until one day we look around and realize that something beautiful has begun to bloom.

May the days ahead bring you clarity, peace, and renewed energy as we step closer to the light and warmth of the spring season.

    With love and light,

    Inner site, Reiki, and meditation

  • Centering Yourself When Energy Is Shifting

This past week has reminded us of something very important: life moves in cycles.

The weather shifts unexpectedly. Snow falls when we thought winter was winding down. The wind howls outside just as our inner world feels unsettled. And above us, the new moon and lunar new year usher in fresh beginnings, whether we feel ready or not.

There is something sacred about this kind of week.

    It teaches us grounding.

When storms move through New England, we prepare. We warm our homes, we check on loved ones, we move carefully. Yet when emotional or energetic storms move through us, we sometimes forget to offer ourselves that same care.

Energy shifts are real. Lunar cycles are powerful. Seasonal transitions stir old feelings. Change—even positive change—can feel overwhelming.

But here is the gentle truth:

You do not have to rush transformation.

The new moon invites intention, not urgency.

The winter season invites rest, not resistance.

The wind invites release, not fear.

This week we talked about processing emotions and checking in with our energy. That is not just a passing suggestion—it is a spiritual practice.

    Pause and ask yourself:

    • How am I really feeling today?

    • Where does my energy feel heavy?

    • What might I need to release?

    • What am I being invited to begin?

Balance is not about perfection. It is about awareness.

When you notice your energy dipping, ground yourself.

When your thoughts feel scattered, breathe.

When your heart feels uncertain, place your hand over it and listen.

The birds in the morning still sing, even after the harshest snow. That is resilience. That is trust. That is alignment with nature’s rhythm.

And you, too, are part of that rhythm.

As we move forward into the coming days, allow yourself grace. Transformation does not have to be dramatic to be meaningful. Sometimes the most powerful spiritual growth happens quietly, beneath the surface—like roots strengthening under frozen soil.

And as a reminder, tomorrow evening at 7 PM on Zoom, we will gather for our second Meditation Sharing Circle. These circles are a safe, supportive space to reflect, breathe, share (if you feel called), and simply be present with others walking their own spiritual path. If you have been thinking about joining, consider this your gentle nudge.

If you are feeling called to deepen your balance, Inner Sight Reiki & Meditation is always here to support you through Reiki, guided meditation, chakra balancing, and intuitive insight.

You are not alone in your shifts.

You are not behind in your growth.

You are exactly where you need to be.

    With warmth and light,

    Tammy

Now I’m off to enjoy my iced coffee after that first cup of hot — because balance isn’t just spiritual… it’s caffeinated too. ☕

  • Anchored in the Flow of Change

Over the past week, our journey together has gently unfolded like a series of meaningful breaths—each day offering its own lesson, its own energy, and its own invitation to pause and reflect.

We began by embracing rest and restoration, reminding ourselves that relaxation is not a luxury but a necessity for the soul. In a world that constantly urges us forward, choosing stillness is an act of self-love. When we allow ourselves to slow down, we create space for healing, clarity, and renewed strength.

As the week opened, we found joy in simple blessings—like the peaceful sound of birds greeting the morning. Those small, sacred moments are often the universe’s quiet reminders that beauty is always present, even when life feels busy or uncertain.

Midweek brought powerful energetic shifts with the new moon and the Lunar New Year, symbols of fresh beginnings and transformation. Change can feel intimidating, yet it is often the very force that moves us closer to where we are meant to be. When we align ourselves with these natural cycles, we begin to trust that each transition has purpose, even if we cannot yet see the full picture.

We also touched on mindfulness and awareness—staying alert to our intuition, our energy, and the signs around us. When we listen inwardly, we strengthen our connection to our own wisdom. That connection becomes our compass, guiding us through uncertainty with calm and confidence.

As the week approached celebrations of love and positivity, we were reminded that love is not limited to a single day. It lives in our kindness, our compassion, and our willingness to hold space for others. Even days that carry superstitions or misconceptions can be reclaimed as opportunities to choose light over fear.

Taken together, this week’s reflections share a single message: life is always in motion, and so are we. Growth does not happen all at once; it unfolds moment by moment, breath by breath. When we stay present, nurture our energy, and trust the path ahead, we discover that we are never truly lost—we are simply evolving.

May this new day meet you with peace, balance, and the gentle assurance that you are exactly where you need to be.

  • Anchored in the Now

There are moments in life when staying present feels easy… and then there are moments when it feels almost impossible.

This past week has been one of those tender spaces in between.

With Bella’s surgery for bladder stones, our home has felt a little quieter, a little more watchful, and definitely more prayerful. Anyone who has loved a fur baby understands — they are family. When they are hurting or healing, we feel it in our whole being. The energy shifts. Our hearts stay alert. Sleep can be lighter. Thoughts can wander into “what if.”

And yet… this is exactly when presence matters most.

It is so easy to let the mind run ahead — to tomorrow’s outcomes, next week’s checkups, the unknown pieces we cannot control. But healing does not happen in the future. It happens right here. In this breath. In this moment.

So this week, I have been reminding myself to stay anchored in the now.

    Right now, she is resting.

Right now, she is being cared for.

Right now, her body knows how to heal.

    Right now, love surrounds her.

There is something sacred about tending to someone — human or animal — during recovery. It slows us down. It calls us into compassion. It softens our edges. It asks us to trust.

As a Reiki practitioner, I know that healing energy flows where intention goes. But even beyond Reiki sessions, there is quiet healing in gentle touch, in calm presence, in whispered reassurances, and in choosing not to spiral into fear.

Staying anchored in the now doesn’t mean we ignore concern. It simply means we choose not to live in imagined outcomes. We choose to breathe here. To trust here. To love here.

Healing — for Bella, and for all of us — unfolds one moment at a time.

If you are walking through something uncertain right now, I invite you to pause.

Place your hand over your heart.

    Take one slow breath.

Ask yourself: What is true in this moment?

Most of the time, in this very second, we are okay.

And that is enough to stand on.

    With gratitude for healing,

    Tammy 💜

Now I’m off to refill my iced coffee and stay anchored in this moment.

  • ⸻ Soul Notes

⸻  Growing in Our Own Time This past week has offered a gentle reminder that growth is not meant to be rushed or compared. Each of us moves through healing and life in our own way and in our own time. The universe doesn’t ask us to grow quickly—only honestly. So often we measure ourselves against others, forgetting that quiet growth is still growth. Sometimes it shows up as rest, awareness, or simply continuing on when things feel uncertain. That is enough. Gratitude has also been a steady presence this week. Our lives are not lived in isolation. We are supported by friends, family, and even the loving energy of animals who remind us how powerful it is to stay present and open-hearted. As we stand between winter and the promise of spring, nature gently reminds us to trust the process. Nothing blooms before it’s ready—and neither do we. Wherever you are on your path, know this: you are exactly where you need to be. With gratitude, Tammy Until next week. selected

  • Holding Space for the Week We’ve Shared

As this week comes to a close, I feel a quiet sense of gratitude for the moments, messages, and energy we’ve moved through together.

This week invited us to slow down and notice where we are. Reaching the middle of the week became something to celebrate. Choosing patience—especially with ourselves—became an act of kindness. When we allow ourselves to pause rather than push, we often find a little more ease and clarity waiting for us.

Trust has also been present throughout the week. Trusting the process, trusting our intuition, and trusting that even when we don’t have all the answers, we are still being guided. Sometimes simply listening inward is enough to bring a sense of calm.

Meditation held a special place this week as well. Last Friday, we gathered for our first meditation sharing circle. Though it was a small group, the experience felt warm and meaningful. Connecting through meditation in that shared space was a gentle reminder of how powerful even quiet togetherness can be.

At the heart of Inner Sight Reiki and Meditation is support and connection. Choosing a Reiki practitioner is a personal decision, and if you feel called to work with me, please know it is both an honor and a joy to walk alongside you on your journey. Holding space for healing, balance, and relaxation is work I cherish deeply.

As we move toward the weekend, I invite you to acknowledge all that you’ve navigated this week. Be gentle with yourself. Celebrate the small steps. And allow yourself a moment to breathe—perhaps with an iced coffee close by ☕️

  • Trusting the Journey, One Gentle Step at a Time

    January 22

As we come together at the close of another week, I find myself reflecting on a theme that has gently woven its way through our days: trust.

This week, we explored trust from many angles—trusting ourselves, trusting the universe, trusting the process, and even learning from the effortless trust shown to us by our animal companions. Each day offered a reminder that trust is not something we master overnight; it is something we practice, moment by moment.

So many of us second-guess our decisions or doubt the quiet inner voice guiding us forward. I know I do. Yet again and again, we are reminded that even when we feel unsure, we are still being held and supported. Trust doesn’t mean we never feel fear or uncertainty—it means we choose to keep moving forward anyway, with compassion for ourselves along the way.

We also talked about patience this week—how challenging it can be to wait for things to unfold in their own time. Healing, growth, and manifestation all have their own rhythm. Sometimes the smallest shift, the tiniest moment of clarity, is exactly what we need to remind us that things are aligning, even if we can’t yet see the full picture.

Midweek, we paused to celebrate. Not just big milestones, but the quiet victories: making it through a difficult day, choosing rest when we needed it, showing up for ourselves in new ways. Healing deserves to be honored, and so does growth—especially when it’s happening gently and behind the scenes.

As we move toward the end of the week, I invite you to take a breath and notice where trust is already present in your life. Where have you been supported? Where have things worked out in ways you didn’t expect? Even acknowledging one small moment can shift our energy and open space for gratitude.

  • Celebrating the Journey, One Breath at a Time

As we arrive at Thursday, it’s a good time to pause and take a breath. Over the past week, our conversations have focused on celebrating small wins, trusting intuition, honoring healing, and practicing gratitude—and all of those themes fit together beautifully.

Sometimes simply making it through the week is an accomplishment, and that deserves to be recognized. Healing reminds us that progress doesn’t have to be big or obvious. Showing up for yourself, and showing up for others when you’re able, matters. Even small acts of support, kindness, or listening can make a real difference.

Healing and growth are ongoing. There’s always something new to learn and another layer of awareness to explore. Reiki and meditation can support this process by helping us slow down, quiet the noise, and reconnect with our intuition—that inner voice that often knows what we need before our mind does.

This week has also been a gentle reminder of the power of gratitude. Gratitude doesn’t mean everything is perfect; it means noticing moments of connection, calm, and support when they appear—both in giving and receiving.

As you move through the rest of the week, you might ask yourself:

    • What can I celebrate right now?
    • Where have I grown, even in small ways?
    • How can I show up for myself and for others?
    • What is my intuition guiding me toward?

Our monthly Meditation Sharing Circle will take place on Friday, January 23 at 7:00 PM (Eastern Time). This is a virtual gathering, and you’re welcome to reach out to me directly for more information or the Zoom details.

Thank you for being here and for being part of this community. Wishing you a calm, grounded rest of the week. 🌿

    With warmth,

    Tammy

Now off to grab my iced coffee… because healing is better caffeinated. ☕️🧊✨

  • Thursday Musings: Listening to Your Inner Voice

As we reach Thursday, I’ve been thinking about the gentle rhythm of this past week — the gratitude we’ve shared, the healing we’ve invited in, and the quiet ways our intuition has been speaking to us.

We’ve talked a lot about listening within. Intuition isn’t loud or dramatic — it’s that soft inner nudge, the whisper that says, “slow down,” “breathe,” or “pay attention to this.” Sometimes our bodies know what we need long before our minds do. When we pause long enough to notice, life feels a little steadier… a little kinder.

We also spent time this week honoring healing in all its forms — emotional, physical, spiritual, and everything in between. Reiki and meditation give us a chance to slow the world down for a moment and reconnect with that peaceful space inside. Healing doesn’t have to be big or complicated. Sometimes it looks like resting when you’re tired, sipping your favorite drink mindfully, or simply sitting in stillness and letting your soul catch up.

And through it all, gratitude keeps weaving its way in. Gratitude for the people who walk beside us. Gratitude for the lessons life brings. Gratitude for the small, ordinary moments that somehow feel sacred when we really notice them.

I’m also happy to share that our very first Meditation Sharing Circle will be happening this Friday, January 9 at 6:00 o’clock Eastern Time (p.m.). This is a virtual gathering held on Zoom, and it will now be a monthly circle on the second Friday of each month. If you’d like to join us, just reach out to me by email, text, or phone and I’ll make sure you have the details.

So as we step into the rest of the week, my gentle invitation is this:

    Take a breath.

    Trust that inner knowing.

And give yourself permission to heal — in your own way, in your own time.

I’m so grateful you’re here walking this path of awareness, intuition, and gentle light right along with me. 💜
